Construction 101 is a fast-track training program designed to prepare unemployed and underemployed individuals for entry-level careers in the construction industry. Over four weeks, participants will gain hands-on experience, industry-recognized certifications, and essential workplace skills to launch a successful career in the skilled trades.
Training Includes:
NCCER Core Curriculum (72 hours) – Industry-standard foundational skills in safety, tools, construction math, communication, and employability.
OSHA Safety Certification – Completed online outside of class, providing critical workplace safety knowledge.
Introduction to Electrical – Basic electrical concepts and skills for construction environments.
Soft Skills Development – Communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professionalism.
Target Audience:
Unemployed and underemployed individuals seeking to enter the construction workforce with the skills and credentials needed for immediate employment.
Outcome:
Graduates will leave the program with nationally recognized certifications, enhanced technical abilities, and the confidence to pursue employment or further specialized training in the construction trades.
