This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of welding through hands-on instruction in MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding techniques. Course Prerequisites:
To ensure safety and course readiness, participants must meet the following:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Wear appropriate PPE:
- Leather boots (preferably without laces; if laces, use spats)
- 100% cotton shirts and pants (shirts must have no chest pockets or must have flaps)
